Co is not a DIY type of guy, so imagine my surprise when he busted out a card that he himself cut into a heart shape.  As a DIY enthusiast, I stand today, a proud girlfriend. This is our 3rd year celebrating Valentine’s Day together and we both said the same thing– though short, it feels like it’s been forever.

This year we had a great day to ourselves without all the fluff.  No spa treatment, no candlelit dinner, no sweep-you-off-your-feet grand gestures (except he did carry me from the front door– score).  Just the two of us with an at home ‘wine and dine’ and TV personalities– pretty much our regular routine, but not any less special.

Here we are looking like middle school kids in love, though I’m pretty sure love doesn’t have an age.
