This sweater was the cherry on top of a thrifting run I went on a few weeks ago.  The way it fits so snug and how the arm length barely reaches my wrists make me certain that this sweater belonged to an 8 year old boy.  Maybe 12 years old.  I like skulls, but only when they’re really understated on clothes and accessories.  Otherwise I feel like I’m representing death or pirates, depending on the occasion.  With something so boyish as this, I had to pair it with something super girly–Free People, pastel pink, sheer, pleated, asymmetrical, flowy, and a skirt nonetheless.  Checkmate-y. (see what I did there?)

The skull and crossbones are pretty special to me (as are owls) but only some people will ever fully understand why ; )
